Why we give
We absolutely understand that money and church can be a touchy issue, but at LakeHills we believe it doesn't have to be. At LakeHills we give because God did first by giving His Son to die for our sins. In God's Word, He encourages generosity, but one that is only practiced with a heart that wants to participate. Honestly, tithing is simply giving back to God your first 10%. The Bible says that everything we have comes from Him, so tithing is simply giving back a small portion of what's already His. When we do this, we are obeying God and putting His Kingdom and ministries first.
